Care Visitors in Buckingham and Surrounding Villages
As a care visitor you will be providing a vital service to our clients, assisting with their day-to-day commitments and helping them with their personal care.

Being a care visitor involves morning calls e.g. getting clients up – washing, dressing and preparing breakfast etc. Lunchtime calls e.g. providing lunch…sandwiches, microwave cooking etc., Evening calls e.g. preparing for bed and ensuring they’re either assisted to bed or prepared for bed, depending on the individual’s requirements.
As a care worker you will be on a flexible rotating shift pattern of Mon-Sun, 7.30.am-2pm and 4/5pm to 9.30pm. You must be able to work alternative weekends.
· A comprehensive induction training programme.
· Leading rates of pay.
· Reimbursement of DBS after working with us for 6 months.
· Mileage at £0.45p per mile.
· BHC uniform.
· Pension scheme (once probationary period is complete).
· On-going training for individual, personal development.

Care visitors are there to promote independence and assist with everyday aspects of people’s lives, to enable them to live in their homes for as long as they want to or is practicably possible. There is a whole range of duties that can involve companionship, personal care or supporting in social activities.
It’s preferable, but not essential, that applicants have at least a level 2 in Health & Social Care (QCF or NVQ) and must have a full driving licence and vehicle.
